Job Details

Our client is an industry leader specialising in the manufacturing of Solar PV modules who are looking to expand their team with experienced Regional Sales Managers. As they have grown considerably over the last year, they are looking for an experienced sales professional who has considerable experience selling Solar PV (photovoltaic) modules. You would be in charge of their Regional team, based on the market experience that you already have.

Even though they do already have an excellent market presence within the region, they are looking for accomplished sales professionals who already have an established network of sales channels to utilise and further develop their customer base.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a challenging individual who would be keen to join a market leader with the potential to further develop their career, either geographically or managerially dependant upon the results that you achieve.

Responsibilities
– Overseeing the identification and close of sales opportunities in line with the company’s strategic plans
– Develop and maintain relationships with EPC’s, solar PV investors and distribution channels
– Establish and maintain an annual sales plan of solar PV modules, including forecasting, targets, organization development and business development
– Ensuring that appropriate representation of the brand will be executed in regional and local exhibitions
– Negotiation of price, volume, contract terms and conditions with the customer
– Development of the regional sales team
– Acquisition of the new Key Accounts by locating account’s decision makers and building stable relationships

Education
University degree in business administration, engineering or comparable. Masters will be an advantage.

Relevant Experience
– At least 5 years’ experience within the solar industry
– At least 3 years’ experience within sales management positions
– Extensive travel will be necessary
– To be able to demonstrate a record in increasing profitability and revenue

Personal Characteristics
– Self-driven, extremely pro-active individual who can work under a high level of autonomy
– Detail orientated individual with excellent organisation skills
– Positive attitude to help drive their team towards success
